We at Peninsula ideate and produce Made in Italy lifestyle garments with the sea in our hearts, the most authentic inspiration of our Italian feeling.

The sea is life, it is strength, it is energy: the sea our passion and, as such, we respect and protect it.

The beauty of the sea is to be protected: it is a precious gift that occupies 70 percent of our planet, playing a vital role in the survival of humans and animals.

Ethics and sustainability are the values behind our mission: if fashion is one of the most polluting industries in the world, we have decided to try to reverse this trend by reducing our impact on the environment.

How?

By making our supply chain as sustainable as possible, using regenerated polyester for the production of the costumes, making the packaging with seaweed from certified cultivation, and selecting partner companies according to sustainability criteria.
All our garments are made to last and to be, then, regenerated according to a virtuous economic circularity.

I have loved the sea since childhood. The coast of Maremma, the wonderful promontory of Monte Argentario and the wild coast of Capalbio are the places where I grew up and fell in love with. To be enveloped by that energy was and is something extraordinary.

My friends nicknamed me "sea sponge" because I spent all my time in the water, something that still regenerates me and makes me happy.  

Because when you swim and move away from the shore, as the bottom turns an increasingly deep blue and there are no other noises around, you immediately feel yourself in the present moment. And it is in that exact moment that you feel its power and realize how beautiful everything around you is.

 In one of those moments a few years ago, I realized that I was surrounded by a plastic seabed and became aware that the sea I had known as a child was no longer the same.

We must act before it is too late, do all we can to protect it and make it as (and perhaps even more) beautiful again than before.
